Access Pipeline Protestors Leave Behind Enough Trash to Fill 2,500 Pickup Trucks
This is so ironic…
Officials have ordered the evacuation of the Access Pipeline Protestors camp after they left behind enough trash to fill 2,500 pick up trucks.

BISMARCK, N.D. – Federal and state officials announced plans Wednesday to accelerate cleanup at a camp in southern North Dakota that has housed hundreds and sometimes thousands of Dakota Access pipeline opponents.
Officials fear the camp near the Cannonball River will soon flood due to warm weather and rapid snowmelt. They worry trash and debris left behind by people who have left in recent weeks might pollute the Missouri River and other nearby waterways.
“With the amount of people that have been out there and the amount of estimated waste and trash out there, there is a good chance it will end up in the river if it is not cleaned up,” Corps spokesman Capt. Ryan Hignight said.
Local and federal officials estimate there’s enough trash and debris in the camp to fill about 2,500 pickup trucks. Garbage ranges from trash to building debris to human waste, according to Morton County Emergency Manager Tom Doering.
The camp on federal land near the pipeline route has dwindled to a few hundred people as the battle over the $3.8 billion project to move North Dakota oil to Illinois has largely moved into the courts. The Standing Rock Sioux and others believe a pipeline leak under the Missouri River would contaminate water for millions of people. Developer Energy Transfer Partners says the pipeline is safe.

Let me help. “HYPOCRITES” is the word you’re looking for. Hypocrites EVERYWHERE.
The irony is that they had to go through the entire WINTER up there, some of it in below zero temps!!! Now, that’s a beautiful thing!!
No dumpsters or garbage service was allowed to enter due to the cops but lets not mention that lets make everybody pissed off at the Indians trying to protect water
Disgraceful. The Indians didn’t leave this mess, the outside protestors did. If they could carry it to the protest, seems like they could have carried it out again just as easily. It is much easier to blame the mess on everyone except the persons who left it. The pipeline is to be in an existing right of way, not on the reservation, that already contains several active pipelines. The Indians were offered compensation but it was not enough money to suit them. Their opposition was all about money. The pipeline was not willing to meet their price. National media did not reveal any of these facts.
White city girl here, and not exactly on the team of “Stop The Pipeline” train…. I kept saying all along they were outside agitators there, eco-freaks and just anti-government type. You Indians may have had the best intentions, and the news used you for sympathy, but now you’re going to get blamed for that crap since the news never said a word about outsider …. I’d like to I think Gr I would like to think green peas cleaned up after themselves but I’m not seeing it Green Peace didn’t do this mess, but yuck.
Sorry about this, but your cause got used…..
