Of the type you are railing on, one of them is on the ticket, and 3 of them just received a begrudging (I hope) endorsement from DJT. Why did the U.S. oppose ISIS in Iraq but supported ISIS in Syria? In Egypt President Obama and Hillary Clinton both supported the removal of Hosni Mubarak a dictator and ally of the United States for 30+ years, they supported Morsi a Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist member, Morsi won the Presidency by less than honorable means, after approximately 10 months the people not wanting to live under Morsi’s strict brand of sharia law, protested in the millions and a coup was born with the support of General Abdul Fattah al-Sisi who removed Morsi along with other Muslim Brotherhood members from government office. Once again the Obama administration reported to the American people that the Muslim Brotherhood was a moderate organization, again only to get the support of the American people.
