5 Reasons Trump is the Better Fit for Bernie Sanders’ Supporters than Hillary

Regated.com has an interesting article that lists 5 Reasons Trump is a better alternative for Sanders supporters than Crooked Hillary.

#1 – Campaign Funding

Trump is the only candidate still in the race that remains untouched from the establishment agenda. Through self-funding his campaign he is not accountable to anyone but the American people. Do not underestimate the valued of this.

Please, do yourself a favor and watch the recordings of his foreign policy speech that was released on April 27th and his victory speech after Super Tuesday earlier this week. These moments show such clear examples of how genuine Trump is when he says he wants to improve life for all Americans. He wants to put America first. Just ask yourself, what has Donald Trump been saying from the beginning?

#2 – Trade Deals

Now that Sanders is effectively out, Donald Trump will be standing alone in the general election as the only candidate truly opposed to the disastrous international trade deals like NAFTA which have absolutely destroyed American jobs. Currently sitting on the table is the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Like on many issues, Hillary is never able to get her words straight on where she stands on TPP. Regardless of what she says, in my opinion it is pretty obvious that her inconsistency only reflects her support. Otherwise, if she is not totally behind it, at the very least, she will certainly never be putting up a strong fight against it.

If that is not enough of an indication also remember it was Bill Clinton that signed NAFTA into law in 1993. Consider too that Hillary did say earlier this year that as President she planned on putting “Bill” in charge of the economy. It’s really not all that hard to figure out where she really stands.

#3 – Special Interest Politics

At this point, Trump is the only candidate that would be able and willing to take action and actually fix the problems associated with special interest money flowing through the American political system. The United States cannot continue to perpetuate a system in which interest groups are controlling, not only elections, but also the type of legislation that is being passed. It is impossible for a system operated in this way to genuinely represent the people of America.

Bear in mind our alternative, Clinton, is the epitome of the broken system. She is just another bought and paid-for politician. Like usual, she is only telling more lies when she claims she is against the role of big money in politics. She and her husband have become professionals at using the American political system for their own financial gain.

#4 – Social Security

Donald Trump was one of the few and now the only Republican candidate that plans to save Social Security without making any type of cuts. While obviously both candidates on the left support the program, they also support expanding it. It is totally irresponsible to consider expanding Social Security without preserving the current state of it first. Expanding the program will only destroy it more rapidly.

Take note that more national debt has been accumulated by the Obama Administration than any of the prior American presidents combined. Democrats are a complete disaster when it comes to managing public assets. If you value Social Security and prefer that it exists in 50 years, Donald Trump is the only rational choice remaining to try to create a long-term solution to its sustainability.

#5 – Taxation on the Wealthy

Although Trump’s tax plan will cut the income tax rate of all Americans, including the wealthy, his plan will also simplify the tax code and close many of tax-loopholes that, in many cases, allow some of the richest individuals to avoid paying taxes. As an aside, how can you even blame wealthy Americans from trying to avoid paying taxes when our government just goes on to squander and mismanage the funds?

When the tax code is unable to be taken advantage of, wealthy corporations and individuals will effectively be paying a lot more tax dollars even if the rate itself is being reduced. Corporations particularly will no longer be able to evade paying taxes by taking advantage of the current tax code’s complexity. While Sanders and Trump could not be more different in their views of capitalism and the value of personal success, Trump has at least outlined a plan in which the wealthiest Americans will be paying their fair share of taxes, which does resonate with many of his supporters.
